Coffee News Spring 2009 Conference
The Annual Spring Coffee News Conference will be held May 14-16, 2009 at the lovely Ocean Creek Resort and conference Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The conference will open on Friday, May 15 at 9:00 a.m. and end Saturday, May 16 with our annual dinner and party.
All new and existing franchisees are welcome and encouraged to attend. The purpose of this Conference is to allow participants to meet with other franchisees and discuss mutual issues and needs relative to publishing Coffee News. We will provide advanced programs in the areas of sales techniques, distribution, ad design, marketing, collections, bookkeeping, and networking. All sessions will be relaxed and informative, so dress comfortably.
We will be hosting an international meeting of Coffee News head office staff only on May 13 with meetings and training sessions on-going during the day. On May 14, we are planning to organize some group activities for all attendees. We will have a sign-up sheet developed for the various activities by next month. The annual dinner party Saturday evening will be a full course dinner followed by live music including an optional costume theme to be announced.

Rates are honored three days prior and post program dates, based on availability. A block of rooms is being held until May 1. All new publishers who have never attended a COFFEE NEWS COLLEGE should arrive on SUNDAY, January 11 to attend two full days of basic introductory training beginning on Monday, January 12, and ending on Tuesday, January 13 at 6 PM. This program is designed specifically for new publishers and publishers who have never attended a COFFEE NEWS COLLEGE. Sessions will be relaxed and informative, so dress comfortably.
New publishers that have never attended a Coffee News College will have the cost of the rooms, meals and training for the basic training program on Sunday thru Wednesday included at no charge, other than travel expenses. Other publishers who acquired their franchises through private sales are also required to attend this COFFEE NEWS COLLEGE but are required to pay their own expenses unless they have paid a transfer fee at the time of the purchase.
